Day 1 : Glasgow City Tour

Arrive in Glasgow Airport. At 2:30 pm take a coach tour around Glasgow’s main attractions and visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Meet your tour director and fellow travelers over dinner. (D)

Day 2 : Loch Lomond Cruise & Inveraray Castle

Take a short cruise on Loch Lomond to admire beautiful views. Take a guided tour through stately Inveraray Castle and walk around the village. Cross Rannoch Moor and pass through the spectacular mountain peaks of Glen Coe before arriving at your hotel on the west coast. (B, D)

Day 3 : Isle of Skye & Clan Donald Centre

Drive along the “Road to the Isles,” enjoying its great Highland views and the Glenfinnan Monument. Take a ferry to the Isle of Skye, the “Misty Isle.” Visit the Clan Donald Centre at Armadale Castle and drive through the island to admire the landscapes. Head for Nairn to enjoy a special evening with Scottish music. (B, D)

Day 4 : Culloden Battlefield

Tour Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre and see where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated in 1746. Drive into Speyside.  Continue to your 19th century mansion hotel in Blairs. (B, D)

Day 5 : Royal Deeside & Afternoon Tea

Drive along “Royal Deeside,” a lovely river valley made popular by Queen Victoria who built Balmoral Castle as her Scottish retreat. Tour the spacious grounds and parts of Balmoral Castle (or Crathes Castle) and visit the lovely Crathie Church. Stop at the Falls of Feugh for afternoon tea and a talk on Highland life. (B, D)

Day 6 :Glamis Castle & St Andrews

Visit Glamis Castle, the legendary setting of “Macbeth” and childhood home of the late Queen Mother. Head to St Andrews, the “Home of Golf.” See the famous Royal and Ancient Clubhouse and the Old Course and enjoy free time. Continue into Edinburgh for a dinner followed by a ceilidh. (B, D)

Day 7 : Edinburgh Castle & City Tour

Start your Edinburgh tour in the 200-year-old “New Town.” See medieval townhouses along the Royal Mile on the way to tour the imposing Edinburgh Castle. The balance of the day is free for independent touring and dining. (B)

Day 8 : Tour Ends Edinburgh AirportTransfer to Edinburgh Airport in good time to check in for your flight. (B)
